Circuit Civil is the court of general jurisdiction that hears civil matters involving more than $5000, land dispute title cases, habeas corpus, foreclosures, wrongful death suits, civil action suits, and contested probate cases. This court has the power to issue injunctions, writs of prohibition, writs of mandamus, and to hear appeals from District Court and administrative agencies.
