Drug court participants chose to complete substance abuse disorder programs supervised by a judge. Drug court graduates are more likely to return to productive lives and gainfully meet all obligations.
Individuals eligible for drug court have been charged with drug use or non violent drug related crimes, with their main problems stemming from substance use disorder. Drug court combines close court supervision and treatment with other services to intervene and break the cycle of substance abuse and crime.
Participants are required to take part in mental health sessions, self help groups, and frequent urine screening. They also must obtain employment. The felony program last a minimum of 18 months and the misdemeanor program last a minimum of 15 months. Those who successfully complete the program may have their charges dismissed through diversion or be granted conditional discharge through probation.

Mental Health Court serves individuals with a felony or misdemeanor charge who have been diagnosed with an underlying mental illness. Participants may also have a substance use disorder. When participants successfully complete the program, charges may be dismissed through diversion or conditional discharge may be granted through probation.

Veteran's Treatment Court is designed to assist veterans who have become involved with the criminal justice system and suffer from mental health issues and/or substances use disorder. Many of these men and women have been affected by their military service through combat trauma, PTSD, traumatic brain injury and other problems. It is the goal of this court to help veterans achieve stable mental health and recover from substance use disorder.
Eligible participants volunteer to participate in the program. They may have had an honorable discharge and do not have to qualify for services through Veteran Benefits Administration to be eligible for VTC.
It takes approximately 18 month to 2 years to complete to VTC Program, depending on the level of services needed and the progress made by the veteran. Veterans who successfully complete the program may have their charges dismissed through diversion or be granted conditional discharge through probation.
